Because working with me is personal...
I was born and raised in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee and after grabbing a degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) I found myself with a bad case of wanderlust. I was given the opportunity to travel the United States working with colleges and universities as a consultant to Panhellenic & IFC Councils. After a year full of amazing experiences across the country, I headed west and fell in love, both with a man and with the city of Seattle.
But the lingering effects of my bout with wanderlust
resurfaced. So in 2002, following the events of 9/11, my husband and I set off on a six month Italian adventure to find villages undiscovered by Americans and where English was not spoken.
As a result, I am proud to say I speak conversational Italian and know Rome like the back of my hand. I love sharing tips and recommendations with friends throughout Italy and we make it a goal to return every few years to catch up with friends.
Today, I live in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle with my amazing hubby, Matt, my two gorgeous sons, Henry and Jack, and our new puppy, Boomer. In my bit of freetime, you will find me soaking up mountain life in Sun Valley, Idaho on my snowboard, collecting wine or planning the next big family adventure (this year is a rafting trip in Moab, Utah).
